Joan IreneMARKSJoan passed away peacefully at UHW Cardiff on 27/12/2021. Joan was a very much loved family member and a well loved friend to so many. The funeral service will take place at the Church of St Michael and All Angels on Wednesday 26th January at 2.30 and will follow on at Briwnant Chapel at Thornhill Crematorium at 3.45. All are welcome to join us afterwards for refreshments at St. Michael's Church Hall. Family flowers only please but donations gratefully received to Joan's chosen charities: Mission to Seamen, Hillside Animal Sanctuary, Gurkha Welfare Trust.

Joan was such a lovely and kind person, the nicest person I have ever met, in fact. She had a knack of always knowing the right thing to say, and could talk to anyone. I was so sad to hear of her passing, and she will be missed by so many. I send my love to her family.
