Ruth LindsayMARMIONPassed away peacefully on Valentines Day. Beautiful Wife, Mum and Friend. Inspirational teacher to so many children. The Funeral shall take place on Monday 7th March 2022 at Haycombe Crematorium, Bath at 3.15pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers are for Dorothy House. All enquiries to G.F. So sad to hear the news of my dear teacher Miss Marmion, that I was privileged to be one of her pupils back in the days when she was teaching at Cheshunt school. You was a truly beautiful person at heart who really cared about my education. I will never forget you and may god be by your side all the time.

Rip Miss Marmion! U was one of my favourite teachers and you helped me with so much and it don’t feel right that ur gone💔 I’ve left school now miss and I’m gonna do you proud and get into childcare like I told you I was gonna do and I will do it for you! I had a cheer comp In Cardiff with the chew valley cheerleaders and I said “ let’s do it for Miss Marmion” and you never guess what happened!! WE WON MISS we did it for you i so wish you was there 😕 forever miss you Mrs lots of love Amy-May Vowles ❤️

I am so very sorry to hear about Ruth’s passing. I’ll always think of her when I think about my school days, to which she brought so much warmth, love and humour. The way she cared about everybody was nothing short of inspirational. Sending love to whole the family x
