Well you would have been 97 what an age. What a lot you have missed. Alli has not been well, she is fed up now of it all, you would have said "oh boy" what next. We are busy here in Blackpool, we have been decorating a few places, and getting ready for a new season. We are busy now for a few weeks with dinners as well. We miss you so much and wish you were still with us. The world has changed so much you would not like it now, people are different, everything is now done on the phone, even your dryer for drying your clothes You turn lights on now with your phone, banking shopping all done on the phone. Hello Grandma, bit late for your birthday but i've not been well recently!!! I know, it seems i'm always poorly at the moment and I know if you were here you would be saying "what next". I had a really bad back for nearly 3 weeks, just started getting over that and ended up with a really bad eye infection. Mum had to pay for me to see a private doctor as I couldn't get seen by my own. It's still very sort and droopy, but hey ho. So, it's rained nearly every day this week, my birthday was a quiet one, although we did manage a trip to the zoo the day before which was nice. I got some good photos whilst there. We go to see the new Showtown museum next week, it's opened now after nearly 3 years of waiting. It's all about circus and dance and the illuminations, we'll see how it is. So, your birthday was spent at the doctors, a nice lady who seemed to know what she was talking about, I hope. I can't believe another year has passed already. Doesn't seem 2 minutes since I was motoring down the motorway to visit you. I miss my Merrie England sandwich. Anyway, Happy Birthday for Thursday, love you xxxxxx

Another year gone by its been a funny one really. People here have been ill with various things, Alli has been bad with her feet etc, not good. We have had a good time with our guests and they have all gone away happy. Alli has not been doing her photography as much, but we hope to get going again in the new year. We have just finished decorating Allis rooms and they look really nice now all fresh and clean. Christmas has been Bah humbug this time as we were too busy to put the tree up. Think Alli was a bit upset by this. You can't be painting and putting it up. Well that's about it for now as we have to get dinner prepared for tomorrow. Love and miss you loads. Brenda XXXXX
