MELVYN JAMES JONES O.B.E.Peacefully on 21st April 2021 at home with his family. Mel, of Penylan Avenue, Porthcawl, devoted husband of Elizabeth, dearly loved father of David, Catherine and Stephen, much loved grandfather of Owain, Hywel, Eleanor and Rhiannon. Funeral service on Thursday 29th April at All Saints Church at 2.00pm followed by cremation at Margam Crematorium. Current restrictions mean you can only attend the funeral if you have been invited. Live stream available on the Parish of Newton, Nottage and Porthcawl Facebook page. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to The Fishermen's Mission c/o Mr Craig Perfect, Gareth A. Jenkins Independent Funeral Directors of Baglan Funeral Home, 115 Pentwyn Baglan Road, Baglan, Port Talbot, SA12 8EB, Tel. 01639 790333.
