Fell asleep 8th February 2021 very sadly but peacefully at home after a short illness aged 84. Lived above Glan Conwy for 37 years and enjoyed the spectacular views towards the Conwy Valley and Snowdonia. Proprietor of Country Seamstress in Colwyn Bay and then working from home into her seventies, she had previously been the joint licensee of The Fairy Falls, Trefriw for a few years with her late and loving husband Derek to whom she was married to for 35 years until his passing in October 1997. Beloved Daughter of the late Benfield and Beatrice Reid, little sister to the late Benfield Reid and Lenard William Reid, very much-loved Mum to Craig and Selena, cherished Nana to Jason, Ben, Sophie, Natasha, Megan, Jessica, and Jack. Great Grandmother to Connor, Cai, Katie, Josh, Tyler and Amelia. Beatrice will be missed by all who knew her and whose hearts she touched along the way. Due to current restrictions a private service will be held on 24th of February at Christ Church, Bryn Y Maen followed by internment at the cemetery. Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, attendance will be by invitation only. However, you can pay your respects outside the church, ensuring you adhere to social distancing guidelines.
