FrederickMEYNEN (Fred)It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dr Frederick 'Fred' Meynen. Fred passed away very peacefully with his family by his side and in the excellent care of the team at Epsom General Hospital on Monday 4th April 2022. Fred's wonderful energy, appreciation of life and compassion for others will be deeply missed by his family, friends and the people and organisations that he supported in the local community. Sally, Tim and Lucy (Fred's children) would like to thank everyone who has sent cards and messages and they have been overwhelmed by the kind words and special memories shared about their dad. A private service will be held with Fred's immediate family. Sally, Tim and Lucy warmly invite you to join them at a special service to celebrate and give thanks for Fred's life on Tuesday 24th May 2022 at 3pm at Leatherhead Methodist Church, Church Rd, Leatherhead KT22 8AY. The service will also be available to view online afterwards for anyone who wishes to celebrate Fred's life and is not able to attend in-person: www.leatherheadmethodist.org/lmconline.htm Please contact L Hawkins & Sons: 01372 372435 for enquiries about any charitable donations you would like to make in Fred's memory to the Princess Alice Hospice and The Grange at Bookham.
