Clive EdwardMORTONTaken too soon on Thursday 26th October 2023 at his home. Clive, aged 58 years of Totmonslow, formerly of Tutbury.

Devoted fiancé of Alica, loving Dad of Amy, Lauren and Ethan, proud Grandad of Lucas and Ophelia and a brother of Eleanor.

Clive will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.

Funeral service and cremation to take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Thursday 23rd November 2023 at 3.30pm.

Will all relatives and friends please accept this intimation and kindly meet at the above crematorium.

Family floral tributes only please, donations if desired for the care of The Salvation Army.

I have traveled many times from Plymouth my home town up to Staffordshire and worked with Clive for 25 years or there abouts, seems like only yesterday that I first met Clive, can only say Clive you will be missed.Clive rest in peace and god bless you.

The most amazing magnificent man I have ever met. I'm so glad I got to spend 38 years of my life with you. A devoted partner and a great father to our 3 children. I miss you very much and I will always remember you for what you have done and the good times we have spent together. You are sadly missed and will never be forgotten. Love you always.

There's not many people in life that you meet who are unapologetically and authentically themselves. And if you had the pleasure of meeting Clive,you couldn't help but like him. What I admired most about him was his ever questioning mind and his ability to stand true to his beliefs whilst respecting everyone else's. You could debate for hours with Clive over a subject and it would always end on a joke and a laugh, and you would hear that infectious, roaring laugh that he had. When he walked into a room, you knew about it instantly,as it was filled with his life, presence and voice. He could talk to anyone from any walk of life or status and he treated everyone eaxctly the same.
I will miss Clive, i will miss hearing his laugh again and il miss hearing one of his many stories. He was totally genuine, honest and hard working and the world seems a lot less bright without him around. I know you didn't believe in things like this Clive and you would call me soft for saying it, but I truly hope you are resting in true peace and love now, reunited with past loved ones. Until we all meet again...With love and admiration, always, Carmel xxxx
