MichaelMURPHYFormerly of Tuam, Co. Galway Well known landlord of Murphy's, The Moseley Arms from 1966-1992. Died peacefully at home on 7th May in the loving care of his wife and family. Beloved husband of Rose. Devoted father to Sharon, Eamonn, Neil, and Michael. Father in law to Gez, Christine, Yvonne and Sam. Loving grandfather to Ciara, Michael, Joe, Josh, Patrick, Eimile, Maisie, Thomas, Jessica, Aisling, and Danny. Great grandfather to Finn, Eva Rose, Annie and Michael. Sadly missed by brother Eamonn, nieces, nephews, and all friends. Due to current restrictions, a private family burial will be held at the Robin Hood Cemetery. Donations to Marie Curie, c/o Stephen and Philip Painter, Funeral Directors, 213 Yardley Road, Acocks Green, B27 6LZ. Telephone: 0121 707 1172. A memorial mass will be held at a later date.

I've tried for years to locate Mick and Rose Murphy. Old friends of Mt late parents Richard and Ann Gunning. I have great memories of the days in the Mosely Arms. Sadly, I've just come across this. So sad to read this. Condolences to Rose and Family. Jacqui Gunning x

Sad news and sorrow I will never forget the nights at Michaels murphys pub back in the 70s and so grateful for the late taxis back condolence to rose and family jim Finucane.
