Elinor ScottMCEWAN(Ryton) Passed away peacefully after a short illness on 22nd April 2021 in The Q.E Hospital, Gateshead aged 90 years. Elinor (Nee Kelso) beloved wife of the late Andrew Johnston McEwan, much loved mother of Ron, Douglas and Drew as well as a loving Mother in law to Ann, and a dearly loved grandmother and great grandmother. A private funeral service will take place at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton on Friday 7th May at 11:00am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made to The Great North Air Ambulance.

When I met your beautiful granddaughter Tracey, you came as part of the package. I could quickly see why she loved you so much and it's been a pleasure and privilege to have such a kind hearted , lovely lady as my " adopted Grandma" . Sleep well and God bless x

Mum, you knew just how muuch you meant to me and the rest of the family. It was my privilege to look after you in the later life. To try and give you the same care and love you gave to us as a family. I just wish i had been for a lot longer. I miss you so much. Sleep well mum God love and keep you.
