Robert ClareNOON (Blind Bob)Blind Bob G4EJQ Passed away peacefully on 25th March 2020, aged 89 at Butterfly Lodge Nursing Home. Husband of devoted wife Valerie. He was also my very best friend. Former Telephonist at Barclays Bank on Mutley Plain. Totally blind for 60 years; led his life with dignity, hard work and dedication. The only blind man to win a Black Belt at Judo against sighted opponents. Funeral Service to be held for immediate family only on Friday 3rd April, 5pm at Weston Mill Crematorium. No Flowers. Donations in memory of Bob to St Luke's Hospice & Macmillan Nurses
