So sorry to hear of Roger's death. I was a PhD student in the CRC DNA Repair Research Group.
Roger was always incredibly helpful and supportive, and someone you could absolutely rely on. Plus we occasionally got to see interesting critters in the lab which probably shouldn't have been there, but it was always an absolute joy to see them and share his enthusiasm for them!

Roger always loved a good walk down at the creek when he lived in Jamison Pa. USA. We were out for a walk after it had rained, Roger in his hip waders was in the muddy water over his knees when a large Carp ran into him knocking him over. To the 12 year old that I was I thought this was the funniest thing I had ever seen. Roger took it in stride and we had a great laugh and a good fish tail.
You will be missed
