Dear Val I’ll never forget all the good times we had together watching the man playing the piano in his front room on the way home from the bingo, until he realised we were watching and drew his curtains. I loved our singing on the train on the way home and all the many laughs we shared together. I’ll never forget you. Love Jean xxxx

Nan was a woman who was the kindest, caring and generous of spirit . She always put others before herself and went out of her way to make others happy. My memories of her include having battles of dominoes across the sofa, playing Guess the Adverts, trips you Birkenhead and Southport, and her cheeky laugh. She was a once in a lifetime woman and I’m so thankful that she was my Nan. I’ll miss her so much and I will love her always ❤️

Love you Nan. Thank you for so many happy memories, from all the times I stayed over as a kid, going to the bingo and the bowls, counting out the coppers, and wandering the shops and markets in Liscard, Birkenhead, and Tuebrook. You were so popular and well loved, every time we were out together you’d be stopped what felt like every 10 meters to chat to someone you knew.
I will miss you more than words can express. Thank you for being my Nan.

Val, you were the best mother in law a girl could wish for. You welcomed me into your family and were always kind and warm towards me. The love your family has for you will continue as we remember you and keep you close in our hearts. Everyone who met you, loved you. Rest in peace. Love Jo x

If there is a heaven, Mum you're in it now. You didn't have the easiest life, you were such a hard worker but also had many good times, kicking up your heels at parties with your siblings, friend or with us, your children. A mother loves through her children and it will stay with us because no matter the age, you always need your Mum. And to finish, as you always said at the end of every call, "I love you more". Sleep well xx
