Ian FrankORCHARD(" Orch ") Passed away peacefully 20th November 2024 aged 72 years. He will be sadly missed by his brother Ray, nephew Matthew and their families. Also by his many friends and associates in the social and community activities he immersed himself in. His funeral service will be held at the Palace Theatre Ibstock on Friday 6th December at 2pm followed by committal at Bretby Crematorium at 3.15pm. A celebration of Orch's life will then continue at the Palace Theatre on return from the Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu for Rainbows.

As a boy I lived just up the road from Orch and lying in bed at night I would hear the beautiful sound of his Norton Commando as he changed down the gears approaching home. I wanted a Commando! Eventually I did have one. Ian was a real gentleman, always with a smile and a friendly word. RIP Robert Metcalfe
