Astonished yesterday to get an email saying it was 2 years since I learned of Ted's passing. I had ironically just used the internet to try and get contact details for him, just to find he had gone a few weeks before.
We met at college when we were 16 or so and Ted used to kindly do my tech. drawing for me calling my efforts " a hoot". He was years before me in learning to drive and took me around town in his blue Triumph Spitfire, overtaking everyone in traffic jams, he was the best town driver I ever saw.
I was always working miles away and in the days before mobile phones there always seemed plenty of time to meet up in the future. I hope Lynne and family have adapted well enough and wish them a happy future.

So sorry to hear of Ted going before his time, we were great pals in our late teens and early twenties. My condolences to Lynne and family.

Lynne & Family, so sad to hear of your great loss. Ted was a true gentleman with whom i was lucky enough to meet in Tengiz & form a friendship with. Great memories of a time away from home made easier by Ted's presence. You will be missed matey.

I was lucky enough to attend a few of Ted's port evenings in Tengiz, all dressed for the part, watching 'Guns of Navarone' or 'Zulu', surrounded by various bottles of port, cheeses of the world, cured ham and Ted's home made pickled onions...Thanks for the great memories Ted....Bello.

Lynne,
So sorry to hear of Ted's passing.
Ted was a true gentleman and will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially those of us who were lucky enough to work and socialize with him as I did.
