Sandra EllenOWENPassed away unexpectedly at Glan Clwyd Hospital on Thursday 17th February 2022 aged 51 years of 11 Ffordd Meigan, Beaumaris. Beloved wife of Darren, cherished daughter of Alwyn and Dilys Rowlands, faithful sister of Tony, sister-in-law of Michelle, Sarah, Tammie, Carrie and Leanne, cherished aunty of Roxanne, Reuben, James, Oliver, Thomas, Wil, Adam, Cameron, Ella, Chloe, Callum, Kiera, Megan and David. Sandra will be sorely missed by all her family and many friends. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday March 5th at St. Mary's and St. Nicholas' Church, Beaumaris at 11.00a.m. Followed by interment at the Town Cemetery. All of Sandra's friends and colleagues are welcome to say farewell to a much loved and respected local character who will be forever missed. Please feel free to wear colourful clothing to commemorate Sandra's life. Family flowers only but donations in memory of Sandra will be gratefully received and shared between Beaumaris RNLI, St. David's Hospice and The Donkey Sanctuary c/o The Funeral Director (Melvin Rowlands) 29 Castle Street, Beaumaris, Anglesey, LL58 8AP. I’ve just heard, I was Sandra’s hospital friend. What a truly lovely lady she was. So happy and jolly no matter what life threw at her. I only knew Sandra a short time but felt we’d been friends a long time. We just clicked and kept each other going during some awful times.
Sandra always spoke so highly of her family and always with a smile on her face when doing so.
I remember when Sandra and I got moved to different bays, we both kicked up a storm and would phone each other when a wall was just parting us both. The nurses soon saw how much we helped each other and told us we both were sulking as we were separated, we were soon reunited again. Oh how we laughed and cried together.
Sleep tight Cariad, I’m truly gutted we didn’t get to meet again, crabbing on the pier I promised you lol 💔 x
