A true gentleman in every sense of the word. I grew up in the same area as Eric, me and my sister Valerie were friends of Eric & Sylvia who lived in Imperial road and we lived in 1 Mond crescent. We moved in 1954 and lost touch, but in the 1990s I met Eric again at M.O.D. Eaglescliffe where we both worked. It was nice to talk of our early years in Billingham. I was sorry to hear of Eric’s passing. Sending love to all his family
Best wishes Tom McGowan
