I haven't seen Mel for over 30 years now, but I was still sad to here off his passing. Mel was a larger than life character, who was always fun to be around. You will be greatly missed by all that knew you.
Rest in peace Mel.

Having known Mel & his family ever since we were knee high we have soo many memories of him, from the day Merv told me he’d seen his brother kissing my sister when they got off the school bus! To him qualifying as a prison officer to becoming a dad to two great daughters - almost every memory has everyone around him smiling, laughing & drying their eyes from his huge sense of humour.
Sadly now our eyes need drying for the saddest of reasons
You will be missed by many Mel
So sorry to now say - RIP.
