The Ferguson family all loved being with Brian. Brian and Shirley saw my kids grow some from babies. He was a lovely man. Brian gave me an emphatic message when I worked with him at Boots which was ‘I always take a day off for my birthday: You need to be good to yourself sometimes’
Something I have done since he said it to me in the early 1980’s
Rest peacefully Brian x

Very happy memories of working with Brian at Boots from 87 to 95. A cheery, happy guy with a passion for life’s pleasures, adventures and camaraderie. Trousers rolled up for a bit of lunchtime sunbathing by the steps to D98, a copy of the Sunday Times and amazing sandwiches - funny what sticks in the memory! A real pleasure to know.

Brian - you were such a lovely and positive part of our childhood - with Christmas gatherings and carol evenings made special by you and Shirley brightly singing and smiling away. Love to your family. Laura Alcock-Ferguson
