ThelmaPHILIPPART (Hendy)Hendy PHILIPPART Thelma Elizabeth (née Hendy 1937-2021) Loving Soulmate of the late Paul. Thel sailed away following a long illness after dedicated nursing care by her devoted children Meryl and Hywel, on the 25th January. Crucial, self-less support was always there by their families Campbell and Gelena, and grandchildren William and Benjamin. A truly amazing personality, Thel was central to her adoring family and will be unfailingly remembered by brother Ken, sister-in-law Jane, her nieces Joanna, Louise, Freya and Hannabeth, and Chris, Ben, Lee, Mia, Bo and Van. Her cousin Jean also Denise and Billy were always close to her heart. Thel will be very sadly missed by her adopted son Richard and all her wider families & friends to whom she gave so much devotion in South Africa (including Nelly, Amanda, Doris, Derrek, Sam, and Zwelaki), Belgium and Morocco. Also many close friends and extended family in U.K. Due to prevailing restrictions, a small private ceremony will take place at 9am on Friday the 5th of March, at Hastings Crematorium.
