BettyPORTER(nee Carter) 16.06.1934 - 21.08.1999 It's a lonely feeling, having lost my Mum. I have urges to hold her, as she's the only one with that mother's loving touch. I have urges to speak to her, to tell her, ask advice. And of course to hear her voice, then I would be alright. We sang duets and tap danced, while we washed the dishes, and hid the chocs and cream cakes from the Grandkid's sticky fingers, so that we could indulge and enjoy. We played cards, board games, table tennis, swam, knitted, sewed and cooked. Had many loving family gatherings. We laughed a lot, cried a bit, but mostly loved and lived for the family. My Mum, my friend. I love and miss her every day -loving daughter Claire and family.
