Walter John (Wally)RAINBIRDWally Sadly on 30th September 2021 at Morriston Hospital. Devoted husband of the late Ruth, much loved dad and "Da" of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and dear brother. Wally will be deeply missed by Millie and by all who knew, loved and respected him. Funeral Saturday 23rd October 2021 where a service will be held at Llanelli Crematorium at 11.00am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu can be made to "Renal Unit Morriston Hospital" via Funeral-Notices.co.uk or cheques may be forwarded to Lee Davies of Phillip G. Davies & Son Independent Family Funeral Directors Bethel Private Chapel of Rest Cockett, Swansea. SA2 0GB. Tel: (01792) 581924. The Family has requested that you could all wear a touch of colour.

Very sad to lose such a wonderful and amazing person and an even better grandad. The person I can blame for getting me into every sport ever invented. Will always be missed every day but the memories that I have will last forever. You are no longer suffering and up there with nan together again. Hope your having a nice pint up there.

Missing you so much dad. You were a wonderful dad. The house is empty without you eapecially when you used to shout that the postman was coming down the road. I think nobody could ever have watched the chase as much as you did, nice and loudly on 70 volume. Millie is still totally lost. Well least you are safe with mum now. You struggled after she passed. We will never forget you.

So very sad to lose such a special grandad and great grandad. I have so many fond memories growing up that I will treasure forever. I am so glad that you got to meet both of your great grandchildren. We will all miss you so much. You are now out of pain and at peace with Nan.
