RogerROWSONROWSONROGERSuddenly but peacefully, after a short illness on September 26, 2004, at Scunthorpe General Hospital, Roger aged 62 years, beloved husband of Janet, dearest dad of Dianne, Richard and the late Gary, loving grandad of Richard and Hannah, a dear father-in-law of Steve and a good friend to many. Would friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Friday, October 1, 2004 at 2pm for service and committal. Either flowers or donations for "Ward 22 Endowment Fund" will be received at J Naylor Funeral Directors, Comforts Avenue, Scunthorpe, where Roger is now resting peacefully. Everyone is welcome to join the family at the Malt Shovel following the service.

I remember coming to work with you in the summer holidays. And mornings before school watching cartoons. We weren’t blood but you were as much a grandad to me as any biological one. I’ve got good memories of you. I’ll look after your zippo forever. All my love.
