Christopher JohnROYLE ((Chris))(Chris) At rest on Tuesday 5th January 2021, at home with his family, after a short illness. The dearly loved husband of Beryl, loving dad of Julie and Kate, treasured grandad to Laura, Dan and Layla. A loving brother of Brenda, father-in-law to Lee and Jon. He was a respected Optician in Longton and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and neighbours. There will be a private cremation held on Thursday 28th January 2021. No flowers by request, donations if desired for The Christie Charity or Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Donations and Enquiries to: Birch House, Birches Head Road, Hanley, ST1 6LH. Tel. 01782 212880.

Chris was a skilled and meticulous Optometrist who treated both his patients and colleagues with care and respect. He was a great boss, business partner, mentor and friend, and will be sadly missed by Sue, Louise, Sophia, Kirsty and all the staff at Royles Opticians.
