RobertSCOURFIELDSuddenly on Saturday 9th January 2021 at his home aged 67 years, Robert of Main Road, Bryncoch originally from Taibach. Beloved husband of Llinos, much loved father of Owen and Catrin and father in law of Rachel and Dafydd, special grampa Rob of Gethin, Megan and Gwennan, loved brother of Elizabeth and the late David. Robert will be greatly missed by all his loving family and many friends. Due to current restrictions a private family funeral will be held at Margam Crematorium on Friday 29th January. The funeral cortege will be leaving Robert's home on Main Road, Bryncoch at 2:40pm for those wishing to pay their respects. No flowers by request, however donations in memory of Robert gratefully received for Neath YMCA and/or UK Dementia Research Institute c/o Les Davies Independent Funeral Directors, Neath Funeral Home, Main Road, Cadoxton, Neath, SA10 8AP. Only just heard news of Robert. Was good friend throughout 7 years at Dyffryn, then lost touch. Great rugby player. Bumped into each other by accident at a Neath Athletic rugby match against Taibach in 2016 , just 45 years later and carried on where we left off!! Very saddened by news and condolences to all family.
