GarySHARPIn Loving memory of my partner Gary who passed away peacefully in our home in Carluke on 15th September 2016. I little knew that morning, God was going to call your name. In life I loved you dearly, in death I do the same. It broke my heart to loose you, you did not go alone, for part of me went with you the day God called you home. You left me beautiful memories and though I cannot see you you're always at my side. As God calls us one by one, I take comfort in knowing we will meet again. Your loving partner Patricia (Trish).

Alas February draws to an end. March was always a month Gary and I would go abroad for a holiday. Gary always booked the holidays. I was not good at that, however he always had a knack of booking were to pick as they always turned out to be a great holidays. I remember March 2002 we went to Egypt. My what a great holiday that was. Another great holiday Gary choose.

Missing you Gary as always. Your loving partner Tricia XXX

Tomorrow night is Burn's night. Gary and all his friends from Carluke would celebrate Burns night in the Masonic in Carluke. He would put his suit on and looked forward to his night with his friends. Traditionally women are not allowed to attend apart from the one lady who responds to the ode to the haggis. However when the men were at Burn's night the wives and partners of the men would arrange a night out together. We would book tables in one of our favorite restaurants and enjoy a meal. Afterwards we would all meet up with the men after their Burn's night/Haggis meal was finished in our local pub and enjoy the rest of the night together. Tomorrow night once I finish my work I will make my Haggis, neeps and mashed potatoes and remember in silence the happy Burn's nights we spent over the years.

Tricia Gary's loving partner.

Hello thank you to those who have looked at my memorial site. It would be nice if all who looked at this site would contact me and share the memories they have and cherish the memories they have when Gary was younger, those who have still have memories of him and and also the people he in his younger days especially when he worked abroad. I have a photograph of Gary when he visited friend's aboard around 2001-2002. He was very proud of this person and his family and the friendship he felt with them. Gary spoke about them as long I lived with him until his death at home with me However I did not know how to contact this person. However I can say to that I was with Gary when he passed away at our home. regards

As a person of my generation not being brought up with computers mobile phones etc as they were not invented in my school days I am pleased that I have been able to learn how to scan this photograph of Gary and I on one of our many holidays together over the years. Now that I have self-taught myself to do this I have many more photographs of Gary and I to share with all of the people who new and loved us as a couple. I must admit I was lazy in not learning these things myself as when I was stuck with anything to do with computers and mobile phone usage I would always call on Gary for his help on these matters as he was so intelligent in these matters. Alas another little reason why I miss him.
