AlanSHAWPeacefully at rest on 24th July 2020 whilst in the loving care of his family at home in Packmoor, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity, Alan aged 79 years. The dearly beloved husband of Maureen. Devoted dad to Bev, Mark and Debbie, a dearest father-in-law, a loving and much loved grandad, great grandad and great great grandad, a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend who will be truly missed. Funeral service and cremation to be held at Carmountside Crematorium on Tuesday 11th August at 1.30pm. The funeral is limited to invitation only, would you please keep Alan and his family in your thoughts and prayers. No flowers by request, donations preferred to Cancer Research UK or the British Heart Foundation. Uncle Alan was one of the best!! He was a true gent.. he might not have been a blood relative but he was family and is going to be so missed!! So many amazing memories.. Uncle Alan you were the most kindest, loving person I’ve ever met! You had a heart of gold and you never failed to make us all smile!! Even when the lot of us kids came round!! Fly high uncle Alan!! I love you and we all miss you so much❤️❤️❤️
