My art teacher at Cambridge Grammar School for Girls from 1965-72 - an inspiration to me who fostered my lifelong love & appreciation of art. Fond memories of her skill and encouragement. May she Rest in Peace.

I enjoyed Art lessons with Miss Shearcroft at The Grammar. She was a great character. I remember her bringing her bike into school each morning. She always seemed to be so positive and enthusiastic in class. Sorry to hear of her death.

Sorry to read this. Miss Shearcroft inspired my lifelong love of art at the Grammar. Seeing her on her racing bike in her flamboyant clothes is one of my enduring memories. RIP
