UmbertoSICIGNANOOn the 17th May 2022. Suddenly but peacefully in hospital. Aged 52 years. Formerly of Castellammare di Stabia, Italy. Proprietor of Torna a Surriento Italian Restaurant, Bangor. Devoted and loving husband of Chiara and father to Giuseppe, Giorgia and Alessia. Father-in-law to Giuseppe and Jess. Wonderful grandfather to Ludovica, Liam, Luca, and the late babies Isabella, Margot and Logan. Umberto will be sadly missed by all his family in Wales and in Italy, all his customers and his many friends. Requiem Mass takes place on Monday 30th May 2022 at Our Lady & St. James Catholic Church, Bangor at 12.00 noon. Followed by interment at Bangor New Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Umberto can be made to Melanoma UK and will be gratefully received c/o Lord-Brown & Harty Funeral Directors, 12 Trinity Square. Lovely Umberto, every time you saw me you said ‘Ahhh, the singer!’ and were always so interested in my life. You were a truly lovely person. My heart breaks for your beautiful family… I will be there on Monday to say goodbye to you. Rest easy my friend x
