Ronald DavidSMITH(Ron) Suddenly on June 30 2009, at UHW, after a long illness bravely fought, Ron, aged 89 years, sadly passed away within the loving arms and comfort of his family. Darling husband of Barbara Joan, devoted Dad to Roy, Janet, Cheryl and Simon, adored Grandad of Anthony and Rosie, Catherine and Phil, Jordan, Ross, Abby, Jack, James and Emma, special Great-grandad to Jacob and baby William. A unique and wonderful person, loved by all and will be truly missed. Resting at Rumney Funeral Services Ltd, 792 Newport Rd, Cardiff, prior to the Requiem Mass at St John Lloyd RC Church, Trowbridge, on Wednesday July 15, at 2pm, to be followed by cremation at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel, at 3.30pm. Floral tributes welcome, or donations if desired, for Macmillan Cancer Support, may be sent to the funeral home. All inquiries Tel 02920 797516. Rest in peace.
