Joy ValerieSMITH (nee Garner)nee Garner Passed away peacefully on 2nd November 2021 aged 90 years. Darling wife of Michael, loving mother of Hilary, Chris, Jenny, Jackie and the late Mark, grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of thirteen. Former teacher and skilled craftswoman. Committal at Markeaton Crematorium, Main Chapel, on Monday 22nd November at 1.30pm followed by a service of thanksgiving at Broadway Baptist Church at approximately 2.15pm where light refreshments will be available. Family flowers only please, however donations in memory of Joy may be given to Alzheimer's Society.
