EdwardSPARROW'Ted' Hartshorne Passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, 13 September 2014. Aged 74 years. Beloved Husband of Donna, a much loved Dad, Grandad, Brother and Uncle. Ted's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 23 September at 11.15am in the Carnarvon Chapel at Bretby Crematorium. Black need not be worn. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu for 'Cancer Research UK' and the 'Air Ambulance' (D.L.R.A.A) may be placed in the collection box after the service. Today always meant so much to me
Now it only brings me to tears
I wish that god could have spared you
for just a few more years
i am thinking of you today grandad
I know that's nothing new
You were my thought of yesterday
And you'll be in tomorrow,too
The memories i'll cherish forever
They always make me smile
I just wish i could hold you close again
If only for a while
But until the day we unite
We'll be no longer apart
But until that day remember Grandad
