I can’t begin to express how much we will all miss you grandad. I am so lucky to have grown up around such a kind, loving and hilarious man. From feeding the ducks, going to the museums and enjoying an ice cream at the seaside, my heart is full of so many happy memories. I can not thank you enough for always being there for me and every member of our family and I hope you rest peacefully. Lots of love xx

Heartbroken doesn't even come close. My dad was proud, kind, loving, generous, funny and intelligent with a sharp whit. He loved a good crossword, a pint of bitter and a game of domino with his friends. We enjoyed holidays and days out as a family, to the park, Bridlington, Scarborough and even as far afield as Florida. He was loved by many, and loved them back just as much. He was always there for me, my sisters and our kids no matter what. He was the head and heart of our family and I will miss him until the end of time. Goodnight, God bless dad, we love you forever and a day, Suzanne, Sally, Lynette, Simon, all your grandchildren and great grandchildren 💔 xxxxxxxxxxxxx
