I've just read my brother Phillip's words and wish I could match them. Bill and Eunice. I loved them both, to put it as simply as I can. They were family to me. They looked after us, let us run riot in their house and garden, and gave me and my brothers the most wonderful thing an adult can ever give a child: a sense of freedom, adventure, and security, all at once.
Bill loved life, and I'll never forget him.
Rest in peace, mate. X

I look back at many of my childhood memories and find that Bill was at the centre of most of them. We worked in the shop together and went on countless Idyllic holidays to the Lakes with Bill, Eunice, Alan and Denise. He was funny, patient, and kind. It was a privilege to have Bills influence as we grew up.
Rest in Peace Bill

I’m very fortunate to be able to say that Bill and Eunice were incredibly important influences on my younger years. As close friends of my parents they are part and parcel of so many of my happiest memories.
Bill’s kindness, generosity of spirit and wonderful humour will never be forgotten by me, nor the fact he taught me to ride a bike.
Much loved by me, my family and I’m sure all whose lives he touched.
RIP Bill
