A poem for david and his family

david ever since you passed away we have no access to your home
with no way to visit what was once your daughters home
we came together as family and think of you all day
its strange how life turns out with all its twists and turns
its hard to cope with someones death as everybody learns
i wished i said and done some things i meant to do
it was such a blow to me and your family after losing you
we drive through the village that was once our home too
thinking of all the times that we spent with you
the family celebrations we had the days we spent together
all your family have flocked like birds of a feather
so every time i think of you everyday and night
i prey to my dad help us do whats right
all the things we did together its my heart your in
i love you dad and im your next of kin

Thinking of you on this fathers day our first one without you love you loads kim andrew familly sadly missed but never forgotten xxxxx

Dad its our first fathers day without you along with our first year
everytime we think of you we shed a silent tear
all shared memories and all the time we spent
i never did tell you how much it really meant
it makes me think how short life can be
i hope if your spirit is around your watching over me
sometimes i say a silent prayer sometimes aloud
im trying very hard to make you very proud
theres one thing in life that makes very glad
the name of david tayler and that you were my dad
so sleep peacefully dad i know your out of pain
i know in my heart we will meet again.

i sit and think of all ways
i can spend all my days
all the love i have in my heart
i hope were never far apart
i drive my car and think of you
not knowing what to do
i think of times we always had
but the tears make me sad
i know that life can be a fight
but i know in
my heart you will steer my right
when we lost you it was such a blow
with no place to visit or no place to go
we have our memories and the years
but somtimes its hard to hold back the tears
i picture your home and see your face
but i know your in a better place
so god took you in arms and took you above
so we send with him all our love
i hope theres a path on the way
so we can meet another day
i see a gateway and soom stairs
