It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of May,
who died peacefully in Manchester on the 20th of June 2025, aged 94.
Beloved mother to Susan and Janice,
cherished grandmother to Mark, Daniel, Brett, and Aaron,
and adored great-grandmother to Logan and Piper.
May was a truly special woman whose warmth, resilience,
and zest for life touched all who knew her.
Born in 1931, May lived through the challenges of World War II
and embraced the incredible changes of the modern world with curiosity and grace.
Her boundless enthusiasm for life and her unwavering belief in unity and optimism
an inspiration to everyone around her.
Creating a lifetime of experiences from ordinary circumstances.
She is remembered for her shining spirit, strength, and love she so freely gave.
Deeply loved and very much missed.
A funeral service to celebrate May’s life will be held at:
The Manchester Crematorium
Barlow Moor Road, Manchester, M21 7GZ
Wednesday 23rd July at 4:00pm.
