Lewis JohnTHOMAS16.07.32 - 17.04.08 Peacefully on Thursday April 17, 2008, at his home in Vale View, Penygraig, Lewis passed away. Loving husband of Shirley, devoted father of Julie and Lynda, proud grandfather of Charlene and Luke, respected father-in-law of Mark and Martin, much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle to his nieces and nephews. Lewis will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew him. Shirley and family thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the abundance of cards, messages of sympathy, beautiful floral tributes and kind donations to Marie Curie. A special thank you to the District Nurses of St Andrews Surgery, Macmillan and Marie Curie Nurses who helped us care for Lewis at home. Thank you to David Evans and Son and Becky for their compassion and support shown in arranging the funeral, the bearers, the minister, his nephew Paul Thomas and all who attended the funeral on May 2. Lewis loved his life, his old time dancing and his horses. We miss him dearly.
