IanTHOMSONTHOMSON DR IAN HOWIE O.St.J., MBChB,AFOMRCP (London)After many years of ill health, IAN, died suddenly, in St. John's Hospital on Friday 19th June 2009, beloved husband and "other half" of Jean for 59 years, proud and much loved father of Robin, Ian, Judy and Margaret, very proud grandfather of Jamie, Catherine, Matthew, Jennifer and Andrew, much loved brother of Margaret and the late George.He will be sadly missed by family, friends and the many organisations with which he was involved.Funeral Service at 11.00am, at Strathbrock St. Nicholas Church, Uphall on Monday 29th June 2009, thereafter to Mortonhall Crematorium, arriving 1.00pm.Family flowers only. Donations may be made after the service toward British Heart Foundation and other favourite charities.
