Marjorie (Throckley)TINNION (Nee Watson)Marj died peacefully at home where she wanted to be on 14th May 2022, aged 88. Marj was a very caring person with a heart of gold. She was a passionate supporter and instigator of charitable events raising money with charity walks and runs for over 25 years from the Bank Top Club. Beloved wife of the late Stan and loving mother to Eileen, Kath, Michael, Julia, Maurice and Stan. Loving and very proud grandma of Claire, Dave, Drew, Stephanie, Hilary, Helen, Jean-Jacques, Amber and Lorna and thrilled great grandmother to Oliver, Leah, Ross and Lewis. Marj always touched people's lives. She will be greatly missed by family and friends and will live on in all of our hearts. Would friends please meet for the funeral service at West Road Crematorium on Monday 6 June at 2.15. No flowers please by family request, if desired donations can be made in lieu to The Great North Children's Hospital Foundation. All are welcome afterwards at Throckley Bank Top Club to celebrate Marj's life. We are kindly requesting that you wear something of colour to reflect Marj's personality.
