I was a good friend and work colleague of Daves at Cottons and Brush Transformers. He was the best man at my wedding. Dave was a top man allways. My deepest sympathy to all his family TERENCEWRIGHT

I joined Wm Cotton as an apprentice in 1960. This is where I first met Dave in the Production Research Dept, this office located in a converted terraced house in Pinfold Gate. Dave proved to be an excellent colleague and mentor. Although I moved around within the company I retained my friendship with Dave, via mostly our connection with Cottons FC, where Dave was an outstanding player and later a well respected manager.
MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO ALL HIS NEAREST AND DEAREST, Brian Clarke.
