So sad when I heard this. Seems like only yesterday I was doing my apprenticeship when he was on London Road, I'd be organising friendly football matches for Tranter All Stars, working with people like Malcolm Edmondson, John Bowers and Mick Newbold and some lovely staff there. Went to many Rams matches with Mick, we were season ticket holders for several years. I reckon he managed to fit two lives in with the number of hours he put in at work. Happy days, great memories. A smashing bloke and a lovely family.
