PaulineTURNBULLPauline Anne Turnbull (née Baker) of Sleaford passed away at Nottingham City Hospital on 3rd August 2022 aged 90 years. Widow of the late Jim Turnbull. Beloved mother of David and Julia and fondly remembered by grandchildren, cousins and extended family. Pauline was born and raised in London. She was working for George Trollope and Sons of London before her marriage to Jim Turnbull and subsequent move to Sleaford. Pauline turned her energies to being a loving wife and mother and became involved with many local organisations. She co-founded the Sleaford Flower Club in the 1950’s and was a long-time active member of Rauceby WI. She was interested in all needlework crafts, was an expert flower arranger and enjoyed button collecting. Both Pauline and Jim were involved with the Sleaford Talking Newspaper and had a keen interest in the work of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. She will be missed by her family and friends and by all whose lives were touched by her. Many thanks to the staff at Ashdene Care Home who provided compassionate care during her last few months. Funeral service to take place at South Lincolnshire Crematorium on September 5th at 1:45pm. Please do not feel the need to wear black.
