ColinUFTONIt's with the greatest sadness that as a family we would like to share that we lost our very precious dad Colin Ufton Saturday 30th January 2021. He was a very well known character of Spondon for the whole of his 87 years. He knew many people and had many stories to tell. He was honest, loyal, and will be missed by so many people. Our dad leaves his four children Chris, Simon, Nathan and Sarah. Daughters in law Sarah and Marie. Son in law Steve and 6 beautiful grandchildren Matthew, Amelia, Lewis, Sophie, Oliver and Louis. He will never be forgotten and will be loved forever. His funeral will be held on 15th March at 12.00 Noon, St Werburgh's Church, Spondon. Followed by a burial at Spondon Cemetery 1.00pm. Unfortunately restrictions are in place re numbers, but all welcome to stand outside the church if they wish upon his arrival. Flowers can be sent to Co-operative Funeralcare, Sitwell Street, Spondon or donations for British Heart Foundation may be made online on Colin's 'Much Loved' page. All further enquiries 01332 664976

Colin a personal friend and a much respected member of Spondon Liberal Club will be missed by so many of his friends in the club. You could set the time by Colin his regular appearance at 10 to 10.15 pm would see him meet up with his pint of bitter and a chin wag with his regular mates. A true gentleman who did so much in his life RIP

I've got fond memories of my uncle colin especially from my childhood as my brother and I spent alot of time with our cousins. He always used to pull my leg and make me giggle. A big hearted man my mum thought the world of. My dad is going to miss his football buddy

Our condolences to the Ufton family. I knew Colin for over 50 years, he was always a gent. Back in the 70's he used to take all the kids on South Avenue swimming in his van, we loved it. He will be sorely missed.
