PaulWARDSadly passed away on November 26th, 2025, at Royal Liverpool Hospital following a brief, but courageous fight.

Paul was a devoted and loving husband to Karen and a caring, supporting father to his sons, Callum and Liam.
Paul also leaves behind his siblings, Maureen, Anthony, and Anne.
Paul was truly selfless, always prioritizing the needs of others over his own, earning the love and respect of many.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Paul's life will be celebrated on December 16th, 2025, at 1pm at West Lancashire Crematorium.
There will also be a streaming service for friends and family that are further afield and would like to pay their respects and celebrate Paul's life - details can be shared by Hope Funeral Care.

The family has planned a wake directly after the funeral at Southport & Birkdale Sports Club
for friends and family to share memories and celebrate Paul's life.

The family kindly requests that flowers are sent by appointment only.
In lieu of flowers, donations to either Clatterbridge Cancer Charity or Blood Cancer UK
would be greatly appreciated.

My brother Paul.
I wasn’t ready to say goodbye the day you left. It was much too soon, so unfair. Every rug was pulled from underneath us as we hoped and hoped you would get through your final illness. Sadly you did not make it. I am still reeling.
I can only hope you’ve gone to a better place where there is peace and comfort, no pain or hardship. I really hope you are with our Mum. I know you have always missed her.
So Paul, we go our separate ways. I miss you horribly. I still can’t believe you’ve gone. The boy who walked me to school every day and held my hand. The boy who teased me at every opportunity. The boy who went on to have his own beautiful family and who was loved by everyone he met.
You are a huge loss.
