DavidWARDALEOf Ripley, passed away suddenly but peacefully on 27th June 2010 at The Royal Derby Hospital, aged 53 years. The dearly loved dad of Duran also a much loved grandad, brother, uncle and friend. Service to be held at All Saints Church, Ripley on Thursday 15th July at 10.30am followed by burial in Ripley Cemetery. Flowers or donations for the Royal Derby Hospital would be gratefully received by the family. Further enquiries to Terry Daniel, Archway Funeral Service, 16 Chapel St., Ripley. Tel: 01773 749028.

Not a day goes by where I don’t think about you grandad, you were my hero and still are till this day and I know I didn’t always show you the love I felt for you but I really struggled to express the way I felt but I’m getting better at it now as I get older I just wish you were here to guide me through life and be by my side fighting these battles with me. You know I sometimes just sit and think about how different my life would be now if you were still here, I wish you didn’t have to leave so soon we didn’t even get to have that beer for my 18th, it’s crazy I’m 19 next month and everyone seems to think I’m looking more like you as I get older. I love you so much grandad, until we meet again my hero xx
