Philip DwightWHALE ((Phil))(Phil) Suddenly, on Thursday 12th November 2020 at his home, Phil aged 72 years of Blurton, the dearly loved and loving husband of Maureen, the much loved and treasured dad of Dave, a loving father in law of Nicola, a dearly loved and cherished grandad of Lewis, also a loving brother, brother in law and uncle. Phil will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends. Due to the current restrictions a private funeral service will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Monday 7th December 2020 at 9:30am. There will be a live webcast of the service; for log in details and password please contact the funeral director. I was Phil's apprentice at the Area Central Workshops for quite a few years, although I have not seen him in years, he was always in my thoughts. Taught me everything I knew as a Plater Welder at the NCB. Have some fond memories of our time together. RIP Moby od friend.
