Peter StanleyWHITAKERPeacefully on February 20 whilst in the care of The Meadowgate Centre, Eston under Nab, Peter aged 92 years of Dormanstown, Redcar. Loving husband of the late Nancy and formerly the late Jean, much loved dad of Simon, Andrew and the late Nigel, father-in-law of Shelagh, Diane & Sandra, treasured grandfather of James, Sarah & Becki, great grandfather of Luke, Alex, Emily & Abigail. Peter will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Funeral service will take place at Kirkleatham Crematorium with close family in attendance. Any donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, are to The Salvation Army. All enquiries to Coop Funeralcare Redcar, tel 01642 482275.

Peter was a true gentleman and lovely neighbour. He used to love tending to his garden and we used to look forward to seeing him pottering around. The children used to stop him to say hello and he never ignored them. He is going to be greatly missed. Condolences to family and friends at this time.
