Cath.
My friend when we were schoolchildren at Denbigh Grammar School, N. Wales in the '60s and '70s and a schoolboy 'crush'.
We and other school friends were due to meet up for the first time in decades last year. Sadly it never happened.
I was deeply upset to hear of her passing.
I send my most sincere condolences to her family.
I will treasure the memory of a very special person.

I was so sorry to hear this...Mrs White taught me in her first year of teaching at Fairfax. I was 14 and she has remained part of my life for many years. She was an amazing English teacher - a subject I loved and she just made it more enjoyable. She was certainly a gifted teacher and the ultimate professional in her role. She also taught my own children....Mrs White was in fact my inspiration to go into teaching myself. Which I did! I can only thank her for passing on her love for what is an incredible job! I met her again a couple of years ago. She was equally as delightful and as inspirational as she was when I was a teenager! Warm and welcoming! She spoke warmly and proudly by of her family...so to you all I pass on my very heartfelt wishes. Christine
