Sorry have only just found out about the sad news. It was a delight to have known Neil. We knew Neil when he was involved in the scouts in cotgrave and enjoyed his enthusiasm in being involved with all the fundraising. He was an ardent promoter of the local music scene His passion for jazz was well known and we enjoyed all his communications, updates and company over the last 35 years.
His ability to remember all of our family and to wish them all well was exceptional.

I have only just seen this. Looked as I was surprised not to have received the usual Christmas card and letter. Neil was our next door neighbour in Radcliffe when he was young along with brothers Anthony and John. I used to babysit for him and Anthony. He kept in touch every year with my mother and myself telling us all the family news. Sorry to hear he has passed. I did know he had a health problem with his heart from a previous letter.
