Arnold MartinWOODHOUSEDied peacefully in hospital on July 22nd, surrounded and supported by his family. Arnold was a very loving husband to Beryl May for 45 years, then a caring partner to Kay. A proud father of Martin, Philip and Graham. His eternal optimism, sense of humour, inclusivity and zest for life was an example to all who knew and loved him, including his daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Amy and his many friends whom he cared about deeply. His drive, determination and entrepreneurial spirit during his career in horticulture has left a lasting legacy and he often acknowledged his happy and fulfilling life. Due to current restrictions, a private family funeral will be held at Markeaton Crematorium. There will be family flowers only, but donations in Arnold's memory, if desired, will support the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team at the Royal Derby Hospital. We have known Arnold for only four years through our visits to my sister Amy. We enjoyed his company over tea and biscuits hearing about his young life which led to his career running a successful gardening business We will miss him very much.
May you rest in peace Arnold

May God Bless you Arnold, it was a pleasure to have met you in very brief circumstances during my stay in hospital recently. You spoke openly and honestly about your life and how proud you were of your family, also of your achievements in life. May you know continue to shine in your new surroundings. God Bless you Arnold. Phil
