Edward Martin CaptZOEFTIGZOEFTIG Edward Martin Capt. Edward (Ted) Martin Zoeftig 93 years of age of Hale, Cheshire. With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing today June 10th 2013. Born in London England on June 1st 1920, Ted was commissioned at RMA Sandhurst: his campaign medals a testimony to his years of service to his country in WW11 5RTR as was his work for the ILEA for many decades as Headmaster. Ted was pre-deceased by his loving wife Rita Elizabeth Zoeftig on October 2nd 2002. Survived by son Martin Frederick Zoeftig, daughter Claire Miriam McHugh, daughter Elizabeth Ruth Kempe, son Ivor Peter Zoeftig, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and sister Marion Bostock-Smith. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday June 20th 2013 at the Altrincham Crematorium, White House Lane, Dunham Massey, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 5RH at 14.00 hours. A welcome reception will follow at St. Andrews Court, Queens Road, Hale, Cheshire, WA15 9JF immediately following the Service. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to The Royal British Legion in memory of Ted's brother Frederick, who died whilst serving in WW11. Special thanks to ?
